MATTHEW FATA

Matthew Fata’s adventurous spirit and commitment to his artistry sets him apart from many dancers in the industry today. Growing up in a small town in Canada, Matthew ventured out all around the world to fulfill what he knew to be his fate. As a young dancer he trained in all styles of dance that include jazz, ballet, tap, hip hop, lyrical and contemporary. Throughout his young dancing career Matthew was commended early on for his talent, winning numerous awards for his dancing and choreography alike. 
Matthew has a lot of dance experience that includes; Carnival Cruise Line commercial, performing alongside spoken word artist Azure Antoinette (credited by Oprah), Michelle Obamas 100th Anniversary of Burbank performance, MusEffect’s stage show "The Divine Direction", Jaci Royal’s stage show “The Grid”, Talia Favia’s stage show “The Difference Between Sinking & Drowning”, Reebok Industrials, assistant for Sonya Tayeh on So You Think You Can Dance, The Industry Dance Awards in Los Angeles, The Nutcracker with the Lincoln Midwest Ballet Company, the APAP Showcase at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, working with AMDA the College and Conservatory of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, EDGE Performing Arts Center showcase, The Capezio A.C.E. Awards, performing at the World Choreography Awards in Los Angeles, assisting Jaci Royal on the “MOVE Live Tour” by Julianne & Derek Hough, etc.
Matthew’s recent travels have provided him with many opportunities. He tours, teaches, and choreographs for Muse Dance Company as well as many studios throughout Canada and the United States. He is also a company member of MusEffect, Royal Flux and a faculty member at Millennium Dance Complex Orange County. Matthew looks forward to all the wonderful adventures and experiences that lie ahead and is ready to conquer them with boundless energy and a determination for excellence.
